Congratulations to the 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty Team - Jerry McGrath, Lonnie Williams and Alice Hurst - for receiving the 2010 HBAG Associate Member of the Year award! The team has been an outstanding supporter of the Home Builders Association of Georgia.  Congratulations and thank you for all of your support of the building industry!

HBAG Past President Griffin White was inducted into the HBAG Builder Hall of Fame on Sept. 16. His wisdom, commitment and dedication to the HBA and building industry are held in high regard among his fellow builder members. 

The HBAG Hall of Fame could almost be called the HBAG Lifetime Achievement Award. Participation in local, state and national associations are considered part of the criteria for induction. In addition, industry accomplishments, participation in community and personal sacrifice and service to the HBAG are also taken into account. Judging is done by past Hall of Fame recipients. This year's Hall of Fame inductee is Griffin White, builder member from the Paulding County BA.

George McIntosh, builder member from the HBA of Albany & Southwest Georgia, was awarded HBAG's Builder Member of the Year.  He is very politically involved, has been in the industry more than 30 years, served as a local HBA president numerous times and was a national director for years.  Mr. McIntosh has also served on HBAG's Government Affairs Committee for the last 10 years.

Patty Rietkovich, executive officer of the HBA of Greater Savannah, won the 2010 Executive Officer of the Year award.  Patty has been an EO for 14 years and during this time has been an outstanding leader while spearheading several new fundraising opportunities for her local association.  She is very active in Georgia Executive Officers Council and the National Executive Officers Council.
