2009 Classification "B" Best Education Program Greater Columbus HBA
"Helping Students Help Themselves"
To encourage the student chapter by helping them raise money so they could attend the national competition event. GCHBA helped them raise $2,000.00 to attend the event.

2009 Classification "B" Best Non-Dues Revenue HBA of South Georgia
"Surviving the Tough Economic Times"
This is an educational program that not only educated members but generated more than $14,000.00 in non-dues revenue during these hard economic times. WIth events like this, the HBA was able to steer away from employee or member services cutbacks.

More than 66 members were either recruited or retained.
2009 Classification "C" Best New Project HBA of Middle Georgia
"Tour of Homes"
Results were 8 homes were sold and 3 builder jobs were secured. Over 2000 people toured the homes.
2009 Classification "C" Best Non-Dues Revenue HBA of Northeast Georgia
"HBA of Northeast Georgia Golf Tournament"
This HBA not only had a terrific golf tournament but was able to sell 45 tee-box sponsors.
